This tubeless conversion process transforms your spoke wheels into fully sealed tubeless-ready rims, improving puncture resistance and simplifying roadside repairs.
The system is carefully applied by hand using a multi-layer sealing process designed to withstand extreme riding conditions while maintaining flexibility and durability.
Important:
- Tubeless conversion is applicable only for rims 2.15" wide or larger.
- For a complete wheelset, you must order 2 units (one per wheel).
The Tubeless Sealing Process
Each rim goes through a precise multi-step sealing procedure to ensure long-term reliability.
Step 1 – Protective Tape Layer
A first layer of specialized tape is applied to prevent the sealing compound from entering the spoke nipples. This also preserves the ability to make minor spoke adjustments later if necessary.
Step 2 – Flexible Sealing Compound
A specially developed sealing compound is applied by hand along the inner rim channel. This compound is engineered to remain flexible while resisting both high and low temperature variations.
Step 3 – Airtight Seal Tape
A final layer of air-tight sealing tape is installed to completely seal the rim and ensure reliable tubeless performance.
Rim Safety Requirement
For tubeless use, the rim must be equipped with a safety hump. This feature helps keep the tire bead securely in place on the rim, especially in the event of pressure loss.
This conversion provides a clean and reliable tubeless setup, allowing riders to benefit from easier puncture repairs, reduced weight, and improved tire performance.
