The Touratech crash bar also offers several advantages over the models of other manufacturers and is significantly more suitable for practical use than the one originally offered by Harley-Davidson.
- The 3-Point-Mounting is extended by an additional, rear strut, thereby ensuring a higher stability and improved energy conduction in case of a fall
- The larger cap extends the protected area, starting at the cooler and extending beyond the front cylinder head
- Thanks to the special shaping, the full area of the cooler's fairing is protected
- In addition, it is possible to transport luggage using the protector
Of course, the Touratech crash bar is made of extremely robust and rust-free stainless steel tubes, as is usual for Touratech as opposed to the original part by Harley-Davidson. No worries about rust, even if the plastic cover should be scratched!
The high processing quality of products “Made in Germany”, a tube diameter of 25 mm and a wall thickness of 2 mm probably makes the bars the most stable Pan America crash bar on the market.
The mounting is extremely easy and there are no restrictions concerning previously existing motor protectors.
