Suspension Check Form

**** The conversion of the replacement springs should be made by a specialist workshop.

**** Important: With this suspension solution, we recommend replacing the rear and front shock absorbers together. This is the only way to achieve the best possible handling with this premium suspension system.

Extreme2 for maximum performance in any terrain, whether on a winding road in the Pyrenees, in rough terrain off-road on your ACT trip, or on your Sunday coffee ride, the successor to the popular Extreme shock absorber has exceeded all our expectations in terms of performance and comfort.

When developing the new Extreme2 shock absorber, our main focus was on consistent friction reduction. The resulting efficiency and precision mean we are now even better able to master the balancing act between road and extreme off-road use, just as befits true adventure motorcycles. Furthermore, the reduced friction also has a very positive effect on wear, ensuring your shock absorber retains its performance even after years of extreme use.

We achieved the extreme friction reduction, among other things, through the special "low friction" piston bands, which significantly improve the sliding behavior of the new 46 mm pistons. This significantly refines the response of the Extreme2 shock absorbers.

Our advanced travel-dependent damping system (PDS) features a newly designed hydraulic stop that works even more precisely and prevents bottoming out even in the toughest off-road conditions.

When the shock absorber is subjected to continuous, heavy loads, many suspension systems experience the problem of excessive damper oil heating. The resulting change in viscosity drastically reduces damper performance. As temperatures rise, wear also increases exponentially, which can lead to irreparable failure of the entire component.

To prevent this, the Extreme2 shock absorber features a new reservoir design with more oil volume and better heat dissipation. This allows us to categorically rule out even the smallest reduction in performance.

The new shock absorber is rounded off with an extended compression adjustment range of 30 clicks at low and high speeds. This allows the damping to be adjusted even more precisely to meet all requirements.

In addition, the Extreme2 shock absorber has all the features of the Extreme1 shock absorber.
The basic setup installed here is designed for riders up to 100 kg plus luggage. Adjustments for significantly higher loads or other unusual requirements are possible. We will then customize the shock absorber to your individual needs.
